C’est moi.

I am French-Rwandese Filmmaker. I’m based in London but I have a few projects taking place in Paris as well since 2020.

My creative practice is focused on narratives from the African diaspora and exploring experimental forms in visual storytelling but not only. I’m also interested in making films representing the multicultural environment in which I evolved, being from two different places.

Frida Loca (2015) is my first short film and was officially selected at Cine Pobre Mexico and L.A CIne Fest. My short documentary African Sewing Club (2016) was selected for S.O.U.L. Film Fest/BFI. My short play Bubble Killer '(2022) was showcased at the Southwark Playhouse & at the Blue Elephant Theatre in 2022-23.

My visual art installation called Progress (1968) (2019) was showcased at the Windrush Square, Brixton as part of Black History Month. in 2019 and a finalist at the Aesthetica Art Prize 2023.

I am a bursary winner from BFI/ Institute of the Arts, Screenskills, Arts Council England, Film & TV Charity and a/n The Artist Information Company.

I’m a member of the Black Writers Collective at Southwark Playhouse since 2020.
